FAQ
Clear answers for reading reports, using the archive, and keeping the project grounded while the signal gets weird.
What is Th3 G1itch Proj3ct?
It is a daily anomaly dashboard and light ARG-style glitch hunting practice. Generated signal readings become locations, hot windows, field notes, and shareable reports for pattern tracking.
What is glitch hunting?
Glitch hunting means choosing a report, watching the hot window, checking public clues, comparing notes, and logging what stood out. It can be done remotely through maps, news, social posts, prayer, meditation, or visualization, or in person from safe public places.
Are the reports live emergency alerts?
No. Treat every report as interpretive entertainment and pattern work, not safety, weather, law enforcement, medical, or emergency guidance.
What should I do with a daily glitch?
Pick one small hunt objective: inspect the map, check local posts, ask someone nearby, save a screenshot, or write down a clue. Use public information and public spaces only.
What is a hot window?
A hot window is the suggested time range for closer attention. It is best used as a reminder to observe and compare, not as proof that something will happen.
Why are some archive days missing?
An archive entry appears after the daily generation job completes and stores that day's report. If the cron job misses a day or the app is redeployed without persistent storage, that day will not appear until it is generated again.
Can I visit the listed locations?
Use caution. Do not enter private, restricted, dangerous, or unfamiliar areas. If you go anywhere in person, stay in public places, follow local laws, and use your own judgment.
Is this an ARG?
It borrows ARG energy: clues, daily drops, pattern logs, shared interpretation, and repeat visits to the archive. It is not asking anyone to trespass, take risks, or treat the reports as verified real-world warnings.
How do donations help?
Donations support daily generation, image/report maintenance, archive upkeep, and the hosting needed to keep the project online.
